Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the taxi booking services provided by CyprusTaxi24.com (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a ride using our website, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Definitions
- Client: The person or entity who requests or books a taxi.
- Driver: The independent contractor providing transportation services.
- Service: Any taxi ride, transfer, or related service arranged via our website.
2. Booking & Confirmation
All bookings must be made through our website or by contacting our support team. A booking is considered confirmed once you receive an email or SMS confirmation containing ride details.
3. Fares & Payment
- Fare Calculation: Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle type, and any extras (e.g., waiting time, tolls, airport fees).
- Payment Methods: Payments are processed online via Stripe through WooCommerce. We accept major credit/debit cards, and cash payments directly to the driver.
- Pricing Transparency: You will see an estimated fare before confirming your booking. The final fare may vary slightly due to traffic or route changes.
4. Cancellation & No-Show
- Client Cancellations: Full refund if canceled ≥12 hours before pickup; no refund if canceled within 12 hours.
- Driver Cancellations: Drivers may cancel up to 4 hours before the scheduled pickup. If this happens, we will arrange an alternative driver for you or, if you prefer, you may cancel the transfer for a full refund.
- No-Show: If you or your party fail to appear within 30 minutes of driver arrival, the trip is considered completed and non-refundable.
5. Passenger Responsibilities
Clients must:
- Provide accurate pickup/drop-off details and passenger count.
- Declare any excess luggage or special requirements at booking.
- Ensure all passengers wear seat belts and comply with local traffic laws.
6. Driver Obligations
- Drivers must hold valid local licenses, insurance, and meet all regulatory requirements in Cyprus.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and roadworthy vehicle.
- Assist with luggage handling when requested.
7. Liability & Insurance
We carry public liability insurance and require our drivers to maintain adequate cover. Our liability is limited to the service fee paid. We are not liable for delays due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen events.
8. Data Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the EU GDPR (Regulation 2016/679).
9. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
For any issues, please contact us at info@cyprustaxi24.com. Disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and resolved in Nicosia courts.
10. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
